Phonophobia From: Admin /26180252

admin intervenes and adds:
Things that aggravate migraine are beer, sex, ice-cream and coffee. Hardly seems worth living, does it? Lol.

admin might have an idea about it:
Relief can by gained from cold eye masks. Be sure to consult your Doctor and if you continue to suffer keep going back and persisting. I am speaking from experience I sufferred from terible headaches for over 10 yrs (im only 25) and was continually told it was migraine, stress related from exams . and despite other complaints it went un noticed for this period of time that i actually had a pituitary tumour. I am currently recovering from emergency surgery. So Persist if you contidition persists asked to be referred to a neurologist. (dont take no as an answer.)

admin does not seem to agree with this. In his own words:
BaFfler said on 03-08-2009 migraines are severe headaches, usually casusing pain at the front of your head, the temples , a constant pain and heavy feeling which can also extend down the back of head / neck. migraine has a tendancy to cause pain over one or both eyes and can cause blurred vision and sometimes a lightheadedness feeling and possibly assoiated nausea / vomitting

Still not being convinced, admin replies:
I sincerely hope they hold information that you can relate to… and maybe the other folk maybe inclined to take a look too… nothing to lose eh? It is a known fact though, that the brightness of a computer monitor will cause headaches…VDU operators are encouraged to take frequent breaks away from their work station and sit at an angle to the screen…. (its not just the brightness, its something else that is emitted from the monitor… cant recall the name, but…if you suffer from (eye) headaches, then this could be the reason…EYE STRAIN. Take things easy. The stiff neck that accompanies a migraine can also stem from bad use of ergonomics….eg: being sat motionless staring fixedly into your lappy…..

..| [ DAViD ] |.. said on 31-07-2009 Migraines are usually associated with stiff neck and photophobia. lisa said on 31-07-2009 For me, a headache is a dull to sharp ache in any area of my head. When it develops into a migraine, it seems to go into a strip down one side of my head and the back of the eye on that side. I feel very sick, sometimes even being sick, and have a lack of energy I get very drowsy and not with it at all. Then light becomes a problem and if it is particularly strong it hurts the back of my eyes. The only thing that helps is if I take paracetamol or something and just go to bed for a couple of hours. I still don t feel fantastic afterwards still groggy. I hate getting them lol
